JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Assembler

Industry: Food Manufacturing

Job Type: Temp to Hire

Location: Ontario, CA 91761

 

Pay Rate: $14.35/ HR 1st Shift- $14.60/ HR 2nd Shift

 

Available Shifts:

1st Shift: Mon-Fri, 5:00am-01:30pm and sometimes 7:00am-3:30pm

2nd Shift: Mon-Fri, 01:30pm-10:00pm

 

Job Description:

Snelling has an immediate opening for an Assembler in Ontario, CA. This position will be responsible for assembling food products. The Assembler should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:

 

  • Perform food assembly on freezer line
  • Measure, weigh and count food products and materials
  • Rolling and packing small food products
  • Requires standing on an assembly line the entire shift

 

Assembler Requirements:

  • Ability to lift finished products and pack manually
  • Ability to work in freezer at 45 degrees
  • Ability to stand the entire shift
  • Dependable, flexible with a proactive attitude

 

Assembler Preferred Skills:

  • Previous food manufacturing preferred but no mandatory
  • Excellent attendance
  • Ability to adhere to all Food Safety/Quality standards
